Matt Perriment Unveils Fresh Single ‘Blockbuster’

Matt Perriment has released his brand new single Blockbuster as the third single from his forthcoming Atlantic Skies album which will be out via V2 Records Benelux on September 29th.
I adored the exquisite, intricate acoustic guitar riffs in this song and their interweave with emotive piano chords to create such a heartwarming and mesmerizing atmosphere. These wonderful sounds were then coupled with a steady beat, memorable string and brass sections, that slowly built pace and energy matching the emotion pouring from Matt Perriment’s incredible voice, filled with so much soulful and raw emotion that immediately caught my attention and gripped me in its story telling power.
Blockbuster is an incredible song about realising we are all flawed and how many are more focused on “beauty” of social media and getting things we can’t afford than bettering themselves. Such an emotive song with cinematic production that keeps me coming back. Check it out below!
